Hi,
So I've been trying to figure this out for a long time and I haven't been able to find anything. I have a HP Omni 120-1034 and I can't figure out how to get the brightness turned down for the longest time. The computer was originally running Windows 8, but the issue persisted after an upgrade to Windows 10. There are no external buttons available to change brightness and no keyboard shortcuts. When I go into the control panel and navigate to the power options panel and adjust the brightness there, nothing happens. When I right-click on the desktop and hit "Display Settings" and turn down the brightness slider under "Customize Your Display", the buttons which allow you to apply the slider changes don't even show up (see the picture below). Clicking "show advanced settings" doesn't do anything.
If I click "advanced settings" it brings me to the same place as the control panel.
If I try to go to the AMD control panel, the AMD Catalyst Control Center (for graphics/GPU) won't open. Tried to check for updates for AMD card, autodetect feature on website didn't work. Also checked for driver updates for the HP Omni; all updates are installed.
It doesn't seem like a driver issue, but I could be wrong. It's a head scratcher for sure. Thanks for the help.
