Hello,

 

I got problem with volume of my HP notebook (HP 15inch, 8GB, 1 TB, 2,1 GHz, Intel Core - i3).

The highest one is very hard to listen to even from few metres distance.

I think it's been some restrictions because this was demo pc at best buy store, so maybe they changed something to decrease the volume in store. I cannot ask them because it to far now (I moved..).

 

I tried to set it up in setting options by many ways by stil not working loud enough.

All computers I know or used to have had much louder speakers.

 I'd like to replace the default Radeon HD 7450 that was built into the desk top and replace it with an Nvidia GeForce GTS 450,my question is,is it compatible with my motherboard? Everything in the desktop is the same except I replaced the power supply with a Corsair CX600. Also is there any other graphics cards that are compatible with the Angelica 2 motherboard? Thanks!

So I apologize if this has been asked before. I know I have seen similar situations as this one I am asking about. However, none of the solutions I have seen yet seem to help with my situation. My problem is this: whenever I go to play a game, any game, after somewhere between 5-15 minutes of playtime the monitor goes to sleep. When it goes to sleep, nothing is able to "wake" it back up. It is just dead, with a "no signal" sign floating around. I try pressing escape, space, clicking, turning monitor on and off. Nothing.

I have the system set so that the monitor has no set time limit for staying awake. I am also running on high performance mode. Also, when I try turning the whole system (computer and monitor) off then back on, there will still be a "no input" sign floating around when I turn the whole system back on. I Have to shut everything off and turn everything on at least twice after the initial time the monitor sleeps.

Since it does this with very very old AND new games, I am assuming this has nothing to do with anything overheating or the system being overworked, as this is a modern desktop. Also, I do not hear the desktop over working either. Most of the time it is silent. Also, I am convinced that having to do a factory restart or do something major to the hardware is not the answer either, as I doubt that is the problem.

Another piece of important imformation. It literally started doing this one day. There was nothing new that we did to it or changed in it. I was playing a game one day everything was working fine and dandy. I was able to do this for a few years. I Went back to play it a few days later, then the monitor starts going to sleep whenever I play any game after about 5-15 minutes.

So my question is this: taking everything I said into consideration, what other things could be potentially the issue? What things can I do to solve these potential issues?

The display port is not working when I have it plugged in, it is a new cable so it not the cable haven't had it working before but trying to use it to get viedo and sound, VGA works fine when grahics card is plugged in, but as soon as I take the graphics card out it doesnt boot correctly, fan starts going crazy, when graphics cards in plugged in works fine. Does anybody know how I would get the display port to work?

Have my monitor connected to desk top. Was working well monitor and sound. Have lost the sound and unable to get it back. All the connections are solid. The speakers are on, But no sound. Help.

I recently had my computer restored back to the partition to remove malware.  I have a Samsung monitor that is connected via a VGA cable.  Since the restore, when I plug in the HDMI cable that runs to the (Samsung) TV (I use a DVI to HDMI converter at the desktop), my desktop monitor goes blank except for the wallpaper, but the TV display works.  I've tried a few recommended updates but cannot get both displays to work at the same time.  thank you for any advice.

Would like suggestions as to external graphics cards I can add (PCIx) to make this machine compatible for Windows 10 upgrade. Do not need gaming level upgrade just something reasonable. Onboard ATI Radeon XPRESS 1100 Series is not compatible according to the Win 10 upgrade process. No support from ATI on this. Motherboard is Alhena 5 1.0,  BIOS 5.14.

RECEVING Failure ID 9085B3-7HD7S6-PXP96K-6OQ303 ON HARD DRIVE 1, AFTER PROFORMING A SYSTEM QUICK TEST.  I TRIED FORMING A RECOVERY BY F11, ESC, COMPUTER TURNS OFF

I was having problems with the desktop sound, so I tried to disable/re-enable the audio drivers.  When this failed, I uninstalled the drivers and rebooted, hoping it would fix itself.  It did not and currently there are no options for sound unless I plug in my G35 Logitech earphones.

 

I have tried to update the drivers using Windows 10, letting it automatically browse for the best driver.  It looks like it's going to work, but then stops and says it's encountered and error.  I've tried this with the firewall/anti-virus package both enabled and disabled.

 

Currently I have no solution for this.  None of the fixes I've found online when I've tried to research the problem have worked.

Recently I purchased a HP Beats special edition 23-n010 all-in-one computer. In the middle of the monitor there is a green, horizontal stripe. Is this a hardware or a software problem? How can I solve it?

The Beats Audio is checked on the Experiance menu of the Beats Audio control panel, but I don't notice any changes when I move the Graphic Equalizer sliders from "Default" even after I hit "Save".

 

What needs to be done to have the "Custom" settings take affect?

 

What am I missing?

I upgraded to Windows 10 (Pro). The audio works, but now the equalizer settings of the DTS Sound+ control panel have no effect. Is there an up to date audio control panel that you can point me to? Thanks!
