Hi,
When connecting a PS4 to my HP 2011x via HDMI I get the message "Input signal out of range Change settings to 1600x900 60Hz". I have set the PS4 to use 720p resolution, which is 1280x720, as the monitor manual says this is supported (preset 5 - 1280x720 60Hz).
Is there a way to persuade the monitor to use preset 5, or should I have a different setting on the PS4?

I have an older Macbook Pro 17 with El Capitan. I use a DVI cable there is no HDMI.
The HP 27sv is awesome screen with almost no side bezel. The screen goes almost to the edge.
I cannot get the Macbook to display on the full screen. There is a 1/2 black border on each side if use extrnal. If mirror the side black goes to about 1/4 inch.
I want it to use the full screen.
Is there a button on the monitior to force it full screen edge to edge?
Is there a menu setting for forcing full screen on monitor menu?
Is there a setting on mac to make go full screen?
1920 x 1080 is beinbg used. It seems like in needs to be slightly different to go to edge. Any place to enter custom setting on monitor or in Mac settings?

Had sound in the past. I am almost sure someting is turned off but not 100% positive. Went to control panel and checked sounds. Tested Ok. Put a Cd in Drive and using Windows Media Player I get video but no sound? Please help, thanks.

I have the HP Envy 23 with Beats audio speakers built into the monitor. Sound just stopped a few days ago, I'm not sure if there was an update that messed with it but I have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers. Says drivers are working correctly. Have had Windows 10 for a while and never had issues. When I run the troubleshooter it detects no problems, and when I run the audio the equilizer level bounces as if it has sound but none is heard. Headphones do not work either.
I'm having the same issues.

i have a hp pro 3300 micro tower. I installed a new nvidia quadrophonic 420 graphics card.
when I start the pc I hear 4 beeps then nothing . The monitor is blank

After upgrading to Windows 10, my Pavilion 23tm touch screen monitor lost the touch feature. I looked for a driver on the HP website and it required me to download the HP Support Assistant app. That is, the site would not simply allow me to download a driver update. After downloading HP Support Assistant and running this app, it did not find the Pavilion 23tm monitor, so I hit a dead end. I believe I just need to be able to download the most recent driver, but the HP site won't allow this.
Has anybody been able to find a supplier of the 'HP CVB100 VESA Mount Adapter Kit' for the Pavilion 23cw or is it just a figment of HP's imagination. Fantastic monitor, but I now need to put it on the wall.
I've never had a problem keeping my display on until I turn the computer off. Until now. I have my power "plan" on my computer set to "never go to sleep", & "turn off display to never". The monitor & computer are not communicating with each other. The menu buttons on the monitor give you no choice for OSD options except for 5 sec. to 60 sec. & blam display is gone.
For me there is nothing more frustrating.
This is 2nd monitor I've bought now that does this.
I managed to "lockout" OSD settings on monitor, but that didn't help. On line manual does not address this.
Help please. Cannot use computer until this is resolved.

Well, stupid self forgot that when installing a Windows theme background, you also get a screensaver. Even if it say's blank when you look at setting's, you have to change that to "None"! Re-check your power settings again, & you're good to go. So sorry for wasting the space & time of anyone that has read this.
Hi, i am having a problem with my moniter, every time i try to connect my mac or my hp, via. Hdmi - displayport, i dont get a signal and my moniter goes to slep, but when i connect my old laptop, via. RGB i get a signal. Any ideas? could it be the hdmi cabel? I just bought it today.

So I just recently got a microphone so I can easily talk and record things on my computer, but when I tried to test it out, I couldn't hear anything. AFter a bit more of testing I found I had to register my microphone, so I thought; "oh okay that'll solve my issue" wrong. When I tried doing it my computer said it couldn't even register that anything was in the microphone jack. It's very frustrating when I'm on a time limit with this sort of thing and not being able to do it. My computer is an HP Model: 19-2113w and the product number is; G4B06AA#ABA
It could be the microphone's fault but I don't think so, given it's new and the audio part works perfectly fine. I've never tried plugging something into the microphone jack on my computer though.

My pavilion p6240f is unresponsive. I plug in a monitor cable and the monitor does not respond. When I press the power button to turn it on, the light does not turn on but the hardware inside runs. I have gone through multiple articles in the forum and could not find a solution. I have no idea what the problem is.
Ok, Guys .. I bought a Hp 750-124. AND TWO MONITORS 27 "SAMSUMG, connected TWO IN OUTPUTS AND INPUTS HDMI, BUT WINDOWS only recognizes ONE OF MONITORS.
The monitors are funbcionando perfeitamentem already auditioned switching cables.
I've tried to download the new driver for Intel 530 board, but he's wrong.
How to solve it?

I noticed that my hp 25vx IPS Monitor's power supply unit is making a faint, humming noise while the monitor is in standby mode or if it is powered off and the unit is still connected to the power supply. I have checked the power supply and it is not warm or hot and the monitor is working just fine. I just want to know if this "noise" is normal or if I have a defective power supply.
GOt a new HP desktop wireless computer 2 weeks ago. Thought that wireless meant it would be a snap to set up. INstead of the 3 minutes it takes to unhook my other old desktop computers and set up my new desktop computers this new wireless desktop took 3 days and 3 days of support.
The speakers never did work even with hours of support. I had to order some from Amazon and they worked and hooked up in 2 minutes.
Just been on hold with HP support because the monitor stopped working and says it's scanning and not getting a signal. All lights and everything are working but the monitor is black and keeps going to sleep. I am getting crazy over here. HELPPPPPP!
I held the line for 1 hour explained the problem and the person from India said Oh sorry they connected you to the laptop department not desktop I'll have to connect you to that department. Ugh but I'll get you right over to them. Still holding at an hour and 15 minutes.held again for over another hour and boom got disconnected. Very sad. No help needed I'm done.
