Right after installing windows 7 I have no sound driver installed.
I've searched for more posts but can't find a solution.

Multimedia Audio controller does not work after upgrade Win7.1 to Win10 soundc SB x-fi XtremeMusic
I bought the desktop running XP in 2006 equipped with soundblaster Model SB0670 Oem version from HP upgraded smoothly to respectively Vista in 2007 and Win7 in 2013. I managed to make the soundcard working by using driver packs from HP in 2006 and 2007 and the drivers from Creative in 2013. I do not remember the names of the driver packs but for shure in 2010 I used SBXF_PCDRV_L11_2_30_0007.

Now I am on Windows 10 unable to make this soundcard working. Always error 28 or 10 in Device manager. I tried it out with driver pack SBXF_PCDRV_L11_2_30_0010 (the windows 10 dedicated), SBXF_PCDRV_L11_2_30_0004 (for Win8) and SBXF_PCDRV_L11_2_30_0007 (for Win7). No way.
Is it due to the Model number? Creative number is SB0460. Mine is SB0670.
Could you please help me to provide a good working driver ?

beats audio and sound not working after windows 10
hi i installed windows 10 and now i have no sound and beats audio doesnt work and has lost its equilizer settings i have tryed updating drivers but the hp site doesnt have anything for my model pc and the device manager says its updated i have tryed all the trouble shooting metherds and i can not get this to work is there any way to fix this ?

I think I just lost my sound driver after upgrading to Windows 10, any ideas?
Hi, first off I have to let you know I'm really not a techie kind of guy so when it comes to technicalities I tend to just follow strict instructions to solve my issues. Hence w/o instructions I'm pretty much doomed haha
I had my desktop upgraded to windows 10 lately and it was kind of okay and so so, tho I seem to have been having problems with my drivers, I thought it was just normal for an upgrade to lose some (cos the first driver I lost was my printer driver) but heck I told myself I can just reinstall them using my CDs.
but here's the issue, everytime the windows have its latest updates I keep on losing my drivers. Now I think I just lost my VidCard driver or IDK (told you I'm not really techie) then now my sound driver, I tried the HP support but it says that all my drivers are ok, but looking at this
i dont think it really helped, plus it says afterwards. .
i tried fixing it on the control panel (setting default sound drivers/hardwares and stuff like that) but it says here
i don't think this is right, taking into consideration HP support says that my drivers are running okay. What to do?

Audio stopped working after win 8.1 update
I just updated my computer and about 30 minutes after the update the earbuds I use to listen to music just stopped working but my headphones work perfectly fine.
It's not an issue with my earbuds because I used them on my phone when they stopped working on the computer and they worked just fine. It can't be the front jacks that are screwing up because I uninstalled the drivers and installed them again to see if it would work and they installed when I plugged them in the front audio jack.
The earbuds work when I plug them into the audio jacks at the back of the desktop
Appearently my computer doesn't want to register the front jacks anymore...

Sound card not working since upgrading to 10. Cannot find driver to be downloaded
Since upgrading to Windows 10, my speakers are not working. They seem to be fine and were working fine prior to 10. I can only find one driver for the sound card and I keep getting a message that it cannot be downloaded for my protection. Any thoughts?

HP stream audio power output
I am trying to help a friend who has hearing problems and is complaining that she has difficulty hearing sounds on her new HP stream . I was thinking a USB sound bar might help but it would help with what power I would need if I knew what the output of the HP is ?
Does anyone know what the Audio Power output of the Stream is - tried to find it in specifications but technical specifications are becomming harder to find in these days of" Style over Content "

netflix distorted sound
i have a hp envy 23 all in one , upgraded windows 10 from 8.1 and now my netflix movie sound is very distorted . you tube and any other videos are ok , it is just on netflix only that the sound is distorted. As i said just since i went to windows 10. Also i uninstalled and reinstalled the netflix app.

headphone jack
Hi
I have an HP Touchsmart 600 PC running windows 8.1
I was playing around trying to get a turntable to play throuh the PC using the USB port, after configuring the speaker sound properties I was able to get it to play and function. However now the earphone headphone jack on the left side under the USB port I was using does not work. The Jack does not work at all even when not using the USB port.
I don't understand what could have happened the headphone jack has always functioned properly?

No sound HP Slimline 450-231d DT PC and philips 274E5 monitor via HDMI
I bought a HP Slimline 450-231d DT PC some weeks ago. It has an intel core i5-6400T processor, AMD Radeon R5 330 graphics card with 1GB, 4GB ram and running on Windows 10. I connect the PC to my philips 274E5 monitor using a HDMI cable but there is no sound coming out from my monitor even though there is a built-in speaker. Tried enabling the playback device etc but to no avail. The bulit-in speaker is already set as the default playback device. Tried troubleshooting using windows, doesnt work.
Anyone else has the same problem? I know there are lots of clever IT people here. Please help!

Sound popping/Static on HP Envy Phoenix 810 110eo
I have been having trouble for a long while now, with sound making like a pop/static sound every once in a while, while watching youtube videos or playing video games, i've googled the issue multiple times, and the most common solution seems to be trying to update your BIOS and sound Driver
However, when i go onto the driver Page, and find the drivers for my PC, there is no such thing as a BIOS update, the Version my BIOS currently runs is v80.17, and is from late 2014, that seems a little old to me, as well as the fact that i didnt always have this problem when i first bought the computer a year ago.
Anyone knows what might be the solution to my sound problems? could it be dust in the computer? outdated drivers? i have downloaded the latest sound driver, and the problem still seems to persist

No sound on Pavillion 23cw
Hello
I recently purchased a Pavillion 23cw monitor, which I connect to my ASUS laptop, running windows 10, using HDMI cable.
However, when I do that, I do not get any sound from the screen.
What I already tried doing:
Trying with a different HDMI cable.
Trying to connect with a different laptop(with a different OS- windows 8).
Uninstalling and re-installing my laptop's audio drivers.
Setting the monitor as my default device at control panel-> sound.
Basically, any suggestion I could find about this issue.
I would really appreciate if you can help me.

firewire disconnects freezing windows
Pavilion P7-1254PC Desktop PC with AMD Quad-Core, 8GB Memory, 1TB Hard Drive and Windows 7 Home Premium
I've recently upgraded my firewire audio interface and am now experiencing FirerWire random disconnects from my new audio interface. I am currently using the stock StarTek firewire card. The FireWire connection will last as little as 10 seconds and up to about an hour before dropping out. Restarting my interface will connect again..
But Wait, There's MORE!! Secondly,, I've upgraded the FireWire card with the recommended firewire card with the TI chipsets to try and solve this issue. The TI cards ALL freeze up windows within seconds! I have tried 3 different recommended firewire cards and all freeze windows. The stock card does not freeze windows but will drop out as mentioned. I have many hours invested troubleshooting so it's time to reach out to the pro's!
Any help would be very appreciated! Thanks a lot!

chirping sound on speakers, audio services not responding, no audio
I hear a constant chirping sound coming from my speakers, which speeds up when the PC is starting Windows.
My speakers are plugged in the front green jack with the headphones icon.
Also, I have no sound when I plug them in the rear green jack.
I have downloaded the latest driver for Realtek HD audio, but no luck.
When I right-click on the speaker icon on the taskbar, and test the sound, it shows the green bar going up and down, but no sound.
I have checked under System, and everything looks fine.
Audio services are running and on automatic
windows audio too
endpoint devices are running and on automatic
I don't know what else to do, please help.
