dp to hdmi no audio
Display port out to an active DP to HDMI adapter. No audio is available via this adapter.
My Intel Q45/43 chipset is supposed to support audio and video.
Display Driver ver 8.15.10.2702.
My driver is up to date.
I have a USB to HDMI adapter which results in audio andvideo.
Must use a special software though that often konks out when PC sleeps.
I want to simplify the PC, old as it may be, going DP to HDMI with both audio and video.
Is it possible to obtain both video and soundfrom the DP to HDMI at all?

Je n'ai pas trouvé le driver pour ma carte son sur la carte mère relative à mon PC : HP Compaq DC5800 s/n : [Personal Information Removed]
La version du driver disponible sur votre site est SP45615. pour Seven 64 bits. Pour Windows 10 aucune proposition, j'ai donc installé le driver pour Seven 64bits, le PC donne l'erreur suivante lorsque je lance Audacity : " Impossible de trouver un périphérique audio. Vous ne pouvez ni lire ni enregistrer de l'audio. Erreur : Internal port audio".
Que puis-je faire pour "mettre à jour"ce driver pour W10.

HP elite 8000 usdt DP audio availabilty
Hi there,
im strugglin for the last 2 days to get my hp elite 8000 usdt pc to render video and audio on my Samsung smart TV.
The problem is that i dont have audio on my tv via displayport to hdmi adaptor.
From what ive read on the internet, i should have in device manager, under SOUND, VIDEO and GAME CONTROLLERS:
Intel Display Audio
My pc shows just realtek audio driver.
I mention that ive installed all the drivers from hp driver support page, ive update video driver from intel support page and still no luck...
My question is: does hp 8000 usdt displayport renders audio+video, or just video?
If displayport doesnt carry sound , what options do i have, to get audio from this pc to my Samsung TV

hp8-1534 windows 10 no sound
My pc has been bugging me to upgrade to windows 10. It said it was compataible, but apparently not? I have had nothing but troubles with windows 10 and hate it! I wish I could go back to windows 8.
So after many upgrades and all day talk with one of the techs. I was told to go to hp and download driver that is compatiable for windows 10. Apparently there aren't any? None of the drivers are working.
I have NO sound and I CAN'T do a restore point, or clean my pc.
Microsoft claims they can't help me and I needed to contact hp for driver update that will fix all my issues.
How can I fix this? where to download driver update that works with windows 10 and if not...then how can i go back to windows 8?

Audio only on system speaker
Did a fresh install of Linux Mint 17.3, and as soon as I logged in, sound came out of the system speaker, even though I had speakers plugged into the back port. I have everything stock on this PC, and only need onboard audio(but not through the system speaker). Is this a driver issue? A BIOS issue? Any help would be appreciated.
