No Sound after installing SSD
Um hello people.
I have recently purchased an SSD as i wanted an upgrade from my old 1tb.The installation/migration went smoothley without any problems. Everything seemed to be fine but when i launched a youtube video.. I got no sound from the built in speakers in the Monitor. After i plugged in my headphones into the built in headphone jack (in the monitor) i still got silence.
Is there any fix? To be honest I dont think its a problem with the monitor (Its brand new). Or Maybe i fu**ed something up during migration that the sound now isnt working.

H7000 bluetooth headset not working
Hi,
I've just bought HP all-in-one 24-g080na desktop and HP H7000 bluetooth headset. Unfortunately, the headset is not found by the computer. I have tried what is in the manual (which is a bit useless to be honest) and other advices from the support team. However, nothing seems to make the computer found the headset in the bluetooth devices or through the Connect window. Could someone please help and advice on how to fix this problem. I have seen that I am not the only person with this issue. Otherwise, PC is great and I am pleased with it!

Reinstall Sound Driver(s)???
Trying to learn how to reinstall my sound driver(s). Or if it's even needed. My speakers from the jack behind my Omni100-5020 work fine. However, the jack on the left side where I plug in my headphones so I can transcribe audio files from either Digital Court Player or Express Scribe Transcription software produces volume so low I can barely use it.
I've fiddled around with all settings under Troubleshooting and nothing is helping. They say they find no issues and recommend reinstalling. I tried other applications, like Windows Media Player, and it too has no volume control and only plays one channel. Everything is turned up as high as possible, but is barely audible for my purposes.
I AM NOT USING GAMING DEVICES, JUST A SIMPLE HEADPHONE HEADSET. I even plugged in a Logitech audio/microphone headset with USB jack I had in my drawer, and still nothing.
Please help! This is my new livelihood and I need to be as efficient as possible as quickly as possible. Thanks!

Finding drivers
Hi
I had a trouble with a virus lately & accidently removed sound files while trying to get rid of it. Afterwards each time I play a video I hear the sound coming out from both, my headphone & speakers at the same time. I have tried to install windows 10 again & asked the Microsoft support for help, it ended up downloading windows 10, 3 times & downloading drivers for sound but no use. Each time they download windows remotly, it becomes worse then before & other problems show!! like: the short cuts in the keyboard doesn't work, the sound becomes funny & I couldn't reduce the brightness!! I have tried to make a clean installation through the USB driver but it showed this message "The selected boot device failed" & I have tried to update the BIOS driver so I can boot from USB driver but I couldn't find drivers for my Laptop, each time I search for drivers it says the warranty is expired & doesn't show anything for my HP Pavilion TS Sleekbook 15!!!

twin envy monitors - sound vs labtec
hello two questions
i have an hp i5 computer with the b&o sound and currently have an old labtec stwo speaker and subwoofer set up
i need two new monitors .. i was wondering if getting 24 xw or 24 envy
if i get two 24 envy will the sound come out of each speaker or will it divide channels betweenmonitors to create stereo or will sound come only from one monitor
or is it better to get two non speaker monitors ?

sound card
wireless not working so bourght usb wireless adapter. Hadn't noticed that audio devices also not detected. I have Hp Pavilion p7 1597c. Now thinking that I need to replace sound card and that is combined with modem card which would explain double failure. If I replace sound card will that restore sound and wifi connection? Are they both on the same card?

ubuntu 16.04 sound on HP Envy 27-p075na
Hello
I have instaled Ubuntu 16.04 in my recently bought HP Envy 27-p075na. The sound isn't there, even with kernel 4.4.5 or the latest DMKS sound-drivers for snd-hda-intel.
I wonder if there are Ubuntu drivers for the Intel skylate HDMI chip embedded in the HP machine, if there are not, have you got any ide when they may be ready?

IDT HD Audio Driver Not Working (Windows 10)
Hello!
So for the past few months, I've been having issues with my audio and Windows 10. My problem was I would have my audio completely cut out, but after trying a lot of fixes online, I managed to find one that was fairly stable (although the issue still presented itself if I had extremely long sessions on my laptop, but rarely did I get to that point).
The issue is that recently this problem has arisen once again. Sometimes simply putting my laptop to sleep then waking it up again would fix it for a bit, but other times required my laptop to be rebooted. In the past couple of days, I decided to try and fix the issue by going through the process I went through before, so I searched throughout the internet for different fixes and drivers I could try, and so far all I've found is that one driver might last for half an hour or so, then it will cut out again and I need to redo the entire process.
It's really stressing me out and I've decided that going on these forums may be easier for me to find the answer, and it may also help other people in my situation.

Windows 10 anniversary update audio problem
I have an audio problem, then before upgrading to Windows 10 or the anniversary update the audio working properly after updating I noticed right away that the sound is distorted or " crackles " .
I have not identified the problem well because it is random , it happens very often and it is very annoying my sound system is IDT DTS Sound + I tried to reinstall the drivers with the latest version but no dice the problem persists ...
I only noticed that the problem is more "feel " when the bass setting is higher or when I change the audio setting to my liking .
I kindly ask for help has also become really annoying because without my custom settings is really horrible!

My All in one pc has an hdmi port that im trying to use to connect my xbox one does not work
I just purchased the All-in-One - 27-a027c and it has an HDMI port but when i tried to connect my xbox it doesnt display the xbox one. is there a way to make it change the display from the computer to the xbox?

New Computer 550-110 can't access software included
To anyone who can help:
I have just received a new 550-110, windows 10, and am going through the initial setup on Windows 10.
So far, I cannot find or access any of the software titles shipped with the computer, such as cyberlink or Bang & Olufsen Play.
The package contained little documentation, only a quick start guide and a warranty pamphlet. No other set up disks or other items, only keyboard, mouse and power cord.
How do I begin to access these programs, particularly the Bang & Olufsen Play? I chose this model for the better audio, not the old DTS sound which never worked right when playing music.
In good ol' Win7, you would get a list of all the programs on the start menu, but the boys at microsoft know what we really want, whether we like it or not. I know where to look in Win 7, but not a clue in Win10, I tried a search of the entire computer and even looked at the program files, but found nothing but Amazon and Trip advisor (already on taskbar).
Any help would be appreciated.

I can't get my computer to recognize my headphones
I can't get my headphones to work. The plug size is 3.5mm and it doesn't feel secure in the jack. Do I need a different size plug?

headphones and speakers playing at the same time.
The sound is being played through both my headset and my speakers, but when I go into the sound settings it says my headphones are disconnected. I have seen other posts that have solutions and I have tried them and they dont work.

No audio after windows 10 upgrade
I had no issues with the audio before I upgraded to windows 10. I could connect my Bluetooth headset and the audio would work. I would connect my desktop to my tv using a 3.5mm cable and it would work just fine. Now the only way I can listen to audio is with me connecting my fiber optic cable to my surround system. I have tried to download the drivers that are for my computer but I keep getting an error. Half way through the installation it tells me" the installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with the package. The error code is 2753." Can someone help me out with this problem. Thakn you in advance.
