sound problem
hello you guys! i just bought this laptop (HP 250 G4 Notebook PC, ) and i installed windows 10.. but i have a huge problem with the sound! some songs sound real great with these speakers whereas other sound awful like my speakers are broke! i cheked the latest update of the realtek high definition audio but nothing changed.. i also tried to install older versions of this driver but thw sound sucked! i thought that my speakers went off but some songs sound really great! pleaseee help me

Deleted IDT Audio
I'll start here:
My Beats Audio Control panel was not opening up. It couldn't find the .startup file. I read on some forums and it told me to uninstall and reinstall my IDT Audio Control Panel. So I uninstalled and now I'm here, with no audio and no idea how to get it back. Any help please?

Headphone Jack not working
When I updated my computer was upgraded to windows 10, the headphone jack was working perfectly. All of a sudden, a few months ago, they wouldn't work. I tried everything that I could find. I tried reinstalling the IDT high definition audio CODEC. When I tried to update it, it came up with an error here: https://puu.sh/r6LQJ/678c26d003.png.
I looked around my computer, and everything was plugged in correctly (I'm pretty sure). The headphone jack still dosen't work right now. It isn't the headphones; I plugged them in on my laptop, and they worked perfectly (also, it was brand new). I need help to fix them. Can someone give me a different method?

Help me to remove dts audio control panel.
SINCE THE LAST UPDATE ,AUDIO MANAGER BEEN UPDATED AS DTS AUDIO CONTROL PANEL ,IT WORKS GOOD WHEN IT COMES TO MY LAPTOP SPEAKERS BUT IT DOESN'T ALLOW MY EXTERNAL HANDFREE OR EXTERNAL SPEAKERS VIA JACK.

Audio Not working after Windows 10
I updated From WIndows 7 to Windows 10 in March; on board sound system worked fine at that point. Since one of the updates this summer (July 12, I think, though it could have been later), the internal speakers do not work; the computer does not recognize the presence of internal speakers (only external speakers and microphone).
I have tried using Device Manager to update drivers: sound and audio controllers--HD Audio device--runs the update and says my drivers are up to date (but only registers the external speakers). I have tried searching the HP site for the driver compatible with my setup--no luck.
Can you either help me get to the driver link or suggest another solution? Is it possible to recover and use (e.g.) the driver that I had for Windows 7? or another earlier operating system?

Connection of 5.1 Channel Speakers without a sound card
i have edifier M3500 5.1 channel speakers and i want to connect them without a sound card on my HP XW8600 workstation. i wasnt successful in doing that. secondly i have also tried to connect a sound card(zoltrix nightingale pro 6) but my pc wont start after attaching it in PCI express slot. please help on this matter and also assist me in what sound card will suit my machine better.

Internal microphone has disappeared after installing Windows 10
I have tried the fixes suggested in the posts for finding the internal microphone but when I right-click in Sounds - Recording and click on Show disabled devices or Show disconnected devices, nothing shows up. All I can find under Recording is a line-in option, no mic anywhere and no other options. No one can hear me on Skype now. Any suggestions please? Thank you.

Sound issues
Updates were posted to my computer I believe on the 14 of Sep. Sense then, I get sound from both my headphones and speakers at the same time. I've tried several different corrective actions but to no avail. Can someone assist me with correcting this?

Windows 10 not recognizing the Audio mixer of the Sound Max integrated digital HD Audio
This is my desk top computer originally coming me vith Win7 where the audio mixer worked well, allowing me to record audio's being played.
After switching to Windows 10, the mixer has yet been present only as an audio device with microphone and line-in, but this mixer is not recognized by the software, and then any recording is impossible.
The audio driver installed by Windows 10 swith is maned 6.10.2.7255 of 10/5/2009 that i read is from "Microsoft windows hardware compatibility publisher".

What audio leads are needed
I have a pavilion 550-203na PC which has realtak high definition audion connected to an AOC12369VM monitor which incorporates speakers.
i have connected the monitor with HDMI cable
When i right click the sound icon at the bottom right corner of my screen it states "Speakers Realteak high definition audio not connected"
Should i also connect an audio lead to the audio jack on the back of the computer? I have tried this and get no sound from the monitor speakers.
If i plug headphones into the fron jack then i get sound from them and the sound icon shows "Speakers Realtek high definition audio connected"

windows 10 media player no sound on some midi
No audio on some midi files. These files play fine on my $50 amazon tablet and on my electronic pianos, but not on my W 10 computer upgraded from W 7 this summer. Emailed the midi to a friend who has W 10 media player and won't play there either. I don't see a way to attach the file here for members to test this out.

AMD High Definition Audio Device not plugged in
How can I get AMD HD audio device (see the Subject) plugged in; do I need to buy a HDMI digital jack? When I opened the icon of "Sound" on the desktop, I, under the playback tab, saw the said device not plugged in. Please help!

Front Audio / Headset Jacks Not Working
Hello.
My audio / headset jacks on the front panel of my PC running Windows 8.1 will not work. I had the Beats Audio Panel installed and was using the IDT High Definition Audio Codec and had rear sound through my speakers only.
After checking your forum, I unistalled that driver (and Beats Audio) and installed the High Definition Audio Device driver only (no Beats Audio) and both rear jacks work.
So, I can get sound and recording in the rear, but not it the front.
I hope you can help me. Thank you.

i have a HP ENVY 23-m210ea beats special edition all in one . It came with windows 8.1 and worked brilliantly. now all the sound drivers ive tried since installing windows 10 do not work properly for my pc . my subwoofer does not work . there used to be controls in beats console for a subwoofer but are not there anymore. i have had various other problems as ive tried other drivers , no volume controle , no sound at all , no beats console , bass speaker working through headphone socket e.c.t.. . ive tried everything ive read so far to no avail , somebody even said bios might be the problem but i dont tamper with those things , so if you can pls can you suggest something new ty . oh and i have tried the latest hp driver
