when I first switch on my HP desk top my screen is blank and I get three beeps in a series of 4 brackests then my screen lights up with the HP logo.
How do I get rid of the beeps?
On start up my HP desktop has started to beep three quick times in a bracket of four times

" No Speakers or Headphones are Plugged in "
i've recently reinstalled my windows 10 , due to viruses and malwares . so i decided to reinstalled my computer but after the installation is completed i noticed there's is circle " X " mark on the audio icon's , it says " No Speakers or Headphones are Plugged in " . i've tried various method in the past four hours still no luck.
the method i've tried are :
1. Classic Troubleshooting (windows ended up couldn't identify the problem)
2. Disablling and Enabling the IDT Audio CODEC
3. Reinstalling the IDT Audio CODEC
4. Installing various IDT Audio CODEC Drivers from 3rd party websites (using the " Have Disk " method)
5. Installing Drivers Downloader (Driverpack) and tried to find out what is missing .
in the previous state before i reinstalled my computer the audio works , but now it's completely unuseable
I'm looking forward for any Instruction to help my problem.

Working XP IDT High Definition Audio CODEC driver for Pavilion p6700it needed
I'm looking for a working XP audio driver driver for Pavilion p6700it.
I have instaled Winows XP pro SP3 this PC to understand if purchase a retail licenze still on the market, becouse i have some old program, and relative data, still usefull to me and i will try to perform a dual boot system.
All device is working well eccept audio device.
I tried to dowload some IDT drivers version from HP compatible with XP Professional but they cant finish installation saing me the device is not supported.
Device manager show me the "IDT High Definition Audio CODEC" device whit a exclamation mark, and no device audio where found on sound pannel control.
The Windows Audio Service is showed as startet in services list.
The motherbord is named Cleveland GL8, and for what I understood it is a Pegatron 2AB6
The p6700it have a Geoforce 405 installed on a PCI slot, with the own audio device for HDMI output, and they are well installed.

Connected to a sound board - humming sound -
PC acts as multimedia computer for our Church. The audio is connected to the Church sound board and has an annoying hum. I understand that this may be caused by a ground loop. Do you have any suggestion on how to solve this problem?

No audio output device installed
Hi, I recently have not been able to get my sound to work on my desktop, the error message I have found is:
IDT - Audio Device - IDT High Definition Audio CODEC - Error 0x8007001f
I have tried to update my driver but it keeps failing to download, when I look at the device it says that ther is no driver installed for this device. I cannot seem to find a windows 10 driver online, can I use a windows 7 or 8 driver?

I am having problems with my inernal microphone. I never used it before and I had this computer for years. I just realized that it is not working.

External USB Audio Hardware (MobilePre USB M-Audio)
I hooked up my M-Audio External Audio Interface and it plays sounds with no problems but the microphone I have hooked into the device will not. The input is working because I can see the lights moving when I speak into the microphone. My system has the beats system so I'm wondering if there is some kind of conflict. Any help would be great.

HP ENVY PHOENIX 810-211na
My PC is about 12 months old. There are two problems:
1) The on board speaker has stopped working. I used to get when the dest top booted up .Now there are sounds all.
2) Believed there was bluetooth on the but thereno icon.
Previuosly it was upgraded to windows 10. Had to do a system recovery . Still no audio from the machine. I have not plugged any other devices to the computer.
Any advice or guidance appreciated.

no audio driver
After having the blue screen 2 days in a row, I did a reset. Everything is good except for having no sound. On device manager, it says there are no drivers installed for this device. I have tried updating IDT high Definition Audio CODECm but it says that a device attached to the system is not functioning. Also tried installing new driver driver but failed to install. Any ideas?

Sound problem: headphones in audio jack don't work
My system used to recognize headphones plugged into the audio jack on the left side of my all in one. It used to be that when I plugged the headphones in, a message popped up. Now, nothing and the sound comes through the speakers.
I've gone through the Windows troubleshooter, the HP guided support, etc., and followed the steps. I've followed a couple dozen steps, actually, and nothing. I know the headphones and jack work. And I used F2 to check the components and the headphones worked fine for the test. And the system keeps saying there are not errors with the heaphones. They are enabled, etc.
One thing I can't find anything about: when the troubleshooter tries to set the headphones as default, they can't. Not sure if they need to be or...?

Sound regularly cuts out while gaming
Hi everyone. I'm having sound issues with my HP Pavilion 500-084ea. These issues mainly occur when gaming, however they sometimes occur on sites such as youtube or twitch. I am currently using a headset with my PC, however I'm pretty certain that the headset itself isn't faulty, as the same problems have occurred with several different headsets. Furthermore, the headset was tested on other PCs, and was fully functional. Apologies in advance if this gets a bit long, however I want to get into as much detail as possible.
To get to the problem, whenever i'm playing video games, approximately 20-30 minutes in, the sound begins to cut out periodically. It cuts out consistently, with sound for 2 seconds, and then no sound for 2 seconds, on repeat. After a while, the sound completely goes, and I can hear nothing. This also affects any sound coming from calls through discord/curse/skype. Disconnecting and reconnecting from the game and call seem to fix the sound issues, and they don't seem to pop up again until I enter a new match. Strangely enough, as soon as my sound cuts out completely, my framerate drops down to approximately 8-10 fps.
As mentioned before, the same issue also occurs (albeit less frequently) on video streaming websites such as youtube, or twitch. Refreshing the page seems to fix the problem.
I have tried plugging the headset into other USB ports (as my headset only suports USB, and has no audio jack), however that did not fix the issue.

Audio and Video out of snyc
Hello
I just bought this computer from Best Buy and ever since i got it the video and audio are out of snyc. I have an HDMI out to my TV, I have tried VLC player as well as BSPlayer both did not work. I tried to watch a TV show streaming from cbs.com same problem. I have tried removing everything like spybot and AVG and still the same problem. I have a Toshiba laptop and the movies and streaming work find on that maching. Any ideas? Also I have tried to save a video to the local HD and smae thing. Most everythign is kep on an external drive, i have 2- 3 tb drives plus the 1 tb internal.
