    I made a clean install of Win10 and the BOO software is now gone. HAve benn all over the place trying to find wehre to download without success (your Eurpoean customer service were uncapable of understand my issue). Any help on wehre to downlaod the latest software and if possible what is the name of the product from BOO shipped within the PC. The code name of the audio system would help on my search.

  • I have reloaded the Windows 7 64 bit OS on a HP p6653w and need to install the proper drivers.

    There are two RealTek High Definition Audio Drivers available:

    "HP" SP46470 6.0.1.6132 68MB dtd 08/12/10  AND  "RealTek" ALC888S-VD R2.80 205MB dtd 12/2/16

    Which one should I install?

     

    When installing a new OS do I need to install ALL of the HP drivers/software?

    I recently upgraded my HP Pavilion a1430n Desktop from Windows XP to Windows 7.  In doing so, the front panel headphone and line-in jacks no longer work.  Tried upgrading the RealTek HD soundcard drivers to no avail.  Looked for drivers on the HP site but my computer is considered "retired" so there are no drivers available.  Are there any workarounds for this issue or trust-worthy legacy driver sites?  Thanks, in advance.

    When I try to use my plantronics headset for work my microphone is using my computer speaker.  When corrected in setting it want me to use my headset plus my microphone headset only to work with my voice.

  • There is no sound coming out from the built in speakers. Previously I could hear sounds from built in speaker, no total silence. I do not have any other speakers connected.

  • My computer is 1 month old. At times the sound will stop working. I spend hours on the computer for school and the sound doesnt work when I pull up  a video. The problem resolves when I restart it. (not an ideal fix for an expensive computer) I have also tried the installed trouble shooting program without a resolution. Please help.

    Love my Envy 34, but would really like to add a subwoofer to the audio.  Ther is not Sub out jack.

    Hello,

    Recently, right after I updated my Desktop to Windows 10 x64 edition, I noticed that the audio would come out of both the speakers and my headphones, and gradually start to only come out of the speakers. I've tried playing through several different headphones, but they did not work either, and tried both front and rear jacks. Even after restarting, I would fnd myself with the exact same problem a few seconds later. The audio is completely fine when only on speaker, though.

    Dear All...

     

    I connected My HP Envy 32" Bang & Olufsen display through the HDMI connector to my Hp Spectre Laptop, but the sound is extremely low for a B&O speaker! 

     

    When conducting the sound Tests in the HP Envy display configuration menu & on the HP Spctre laptop's sound configuration, the sound is louder than when i play any content such as (music, youtube videos or live tv) through the display.

     

    ** The Sound is so much louder on the laptop than it is on the display!**

     

    I only bought this screen to connect my laptop to for movies & youtube, etc..

     

     

     

    ** (Btw I dont have a CPU  attached, Just using the display screen to miror my laptop screen & sound output)**

     

    My laptop is: HP Spectre x360 -convertable 13"

    Operating system: Windows 10- 64 bit

     

     

     

     

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

      Recently, (few months ago) my desktop HP dc58002 windows7 sound quit, on bootup now has a red X over the sound icon, was working previously for youtube, local radio, music CDs, now just beeps on forced keyboard error. Cannot find other than a small computer speaker inside, local guy says should be another because small computer speaker will not give me the previous audio. Have never had any exterior speaker/earbuds connected. Audio troubleshoot says "The peripheral does not appear to be plugged in. Check the connection. Proceed to next step to finish". Trying to self-solve probably made it a more convoluted problem. Can I plug cellphone earphones into front?

    Hello -

     

    I have a Wave PC Model 600-a014. It had been used briefly as a demo machine at a convention. I am about to use it for field demo work and do i hit f9 and had it do a factory reset. I had personally not used this specific pc at this point. After a long factory reset, it reboot with normal setup screens and it said there were updates available and did i want to do that. I selected yes and it went and updated the pc. After the update was done, i was looking at the settings and i noticed there was no sound coming from the Wave speakers. I checked the usual control panels and Bang & Olufsen software and I could not make sound happen. I plugged in some headphones to the from port of the Wave PC and no sound at all either. I have the PC hooked up via HDMI to the HP monitor and that is the only peripheral that is connected. I have uninstalled the realtek driver and reinstalled it and no difference. Any other sugggestions out there would be much appreciated !

    The machine said it was shutting down a few days ago.  After it shut down (because of updates) it would not turn on.  After unplugging it for a few minutes it turned back on but the microphone does not work.  I tried skype but it says there is a problem.  The devicde manager shows no errors.

     

    I updaded the conexant driver and it still does not work.

     

    Any suggestions?  Should I remove the drivers for all audio and install them again?  Anyone know why the windows update did this?  (not sure if it was the anniversary update)

     

    Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    The factory settings for the bang&olufsen speakers don't sound good at all.....wondering if anyone has any suggested settings for lower volume modes.  Expected bose like quality and none of them are good at all.

    Hi,

     

    I have a HP Dreamcolor z27x Studio Display that I wish to calibrate with my HP DreamColor Calibration Solution. The calibration is done inside the display with no need using a operating system. I have done at least 5 claibrations before with no issues but now all of a sudden the clibration will not work. Everytime it stops and an error message shows up:

     

    "An error has occurred while measuring the display. Please check that the device is connected correctly and try again."

     

    Everything is connected the right way. I don't understand why this is happening. Does anyone have a solution for this?

    full error message    

    "Device HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0899&SUBSYS_11020041&REV_1000\5&17217eda&2&0101 requires further installation."  Computer recognizes card, but does not appear as record or playback device.  Uninstalled and reinstalled several times, both hardware and driver.  Creative Labs says they have never seen this before.
