How to connect All in One desk top with TV

I purchased my HP Pavillion 23 A10 All in one desk top PC more than a year ago.Few days ago, some marks appeared on the screen whilst I was using my computer and look like that some one smashed the screen with a stone. I consulted with one of my friend and in his opinion, the screen was damaged due to the impact of some hard thing, though I don't agree with him as it happened when I was using the computer all of sudden.
Can any one help me to sort out this problem?
Also, I want to connect it with the TV to make sure that it's screen problem, but there is no VGA or any other sort of arrangement on this All in one computer. So, could you please help me how to do it as well?
My computer is HP Pavillion 23 A10 and the model is 23-b010 ea and it's very difficult to use the controls as the problem is on the right side of the screen with horizontal lines on the whole screen.

Just received my envy phoenix, and no sound.

The sound is set to S/PDIF and no way to change to speakers, I can not set speakers as default device, the speaker connection is not detected, the same for any headphone I tried on the front port.

 

I updated the drivers to the last version.

Nothing worked.

 

 

Any help will be very appreciated

So I connect the hp 2010i monitor to my PS3 using an HDMI to DVI cable. The monitor only supports 1600x900 resolution. Apparently, the PS3 can only output in 720p or 1080p. When i select 1080p, the image looks much clearer and more crisp on 720p. I can see everything fine.

 

However, when I output at 1080p, the "input signal out of range" message pops up on my monitor. Is there a way to just bypass this message or disable it from showing up on my monitor?

i got a pavilion 23xi monitor as part of a package with my pc, that was a year ago. just recently the menu (that was usually controlled with the buttons on the bottom right of the screen) has occasionally popped up, changed my settings all by itself (changing brightness, source of input, mode of display, hp enhancement settings) i however have no controll over this , the buttons have failed to work when pressed in an attempt to change back the settings. this is really bugging me as i could be watching a movie and the monitor decides to swap to "gaming" mode which completely changes the colours. is there any way to fix the buttons,or disable the menu from working all together? help.

Today i turned on my laptop and i couldnt hear anything at all. I tried to bring up the volume and tried plugging in my headphones, but nothing worked. All it says is the peripheral does not appear to be plugged in. Check the connection. Proceed to next step to finish. What do I do?

Would like to upgrade the current NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 graphics with 4GB  in my HP ENVY Phoenix 810-160 with a with a  EVGA GeForce GTX760 or 770  or equivalent (Faster).  Will this card fit and work in the Phoenix 810-160??  Just purchased the computer.  Use it with Adobe Premier Pro and PS, After Effects for video editing.

I have a HP Pavilion 23-h024 with Windows 8.1, version 6.3.9600 build 9600, BIOS version AMI 80.01.  I got it about 2 weeks ago. I only installed a few games and Webroot antivirus. My issue is, when I am trying to play videos online or through apps the screen where the video is supposed to be is solid green. On the Netflix app, a restart sometimes fixes the issue for a while, but 99% of video playback on IE and the adds for apps, like Minesweeper, are just a green screen, everything else is displayed normally . NONE of the fixes that Microsoft posted have worked, and I would rather not do some of the other supposed fixes I have read such as deleting the display driver and installing an outdated one (sounded bogus) or deleting the  AMD Catalyst Control Center (again sounds bogus as I had that on my Win7 laptop without any display issues) without first running it by a tech of the manufacturer of my computer.  All other aspects of the display are working perfectly. I have checked my drivers and flash player, everything registers up to date, I preformed all updates to Windows that are available. Finally I checked this forum, though a similar issue was brought up and marked solved, I was unable to get a solution, as it directed the person to Microsoft troubleshooting and I have already tried their solutions, so I am posting my own to see if I can get help finding a solution that will fix this issue.

Hello,

I have a SR5250NX with 2GB Ram upgrade,Larger hard drive upgrades,and am currently running a Sparkle NVidia 9500GT card with S-Video/RCA audio cables run to my TV.Recently,the S-Video portion of the card quit,but the PC still functions(on it now).Although it is an older PC,it suits my needs fine for surfing,and streaming to TV(No Gaming).I am not sure if my PCIE x16 is even version 1.0 or 2.0?I have read a lot of newer cards are 2.1,or 3.0,and won't work on older systems.My main needs are HDCP,and I'd like an HDMI output to run better video to my TV.I don't need the latest/greatest,as I am disabled,and on fixed income,so cheaper the better.I'd like the new card to possibly have a fan,as the 9500GT always ran warm.I looked at an HD6450,HD6670,and GT610,but unsure of compatibility.Any other suggestions,as long as it's a new card(not used),regardless of brand would be greatly appreciated.Thank You!

I have the h8-1534 running windows 8.1 and it came with the following video card and i wondered when we would get an updated video driver for it as we have to get the drivers from hp and not amd  since the driver is almost a year old

 

card name: AMD Radeon HD 7570

i see others were able to uninstall the hp engine control center when they updated to windows 8.1 since there were problems with it and when they did this the driver for the video card updated.

 

tried update via device manager and it says i am up to day

 

but that driver says it was from 8/30/2013 and is version 13.152

Recently I bought Envy Phoenix 810-293d Desktop.

Suddenly the sound diappeared but video can watch & even sound bar on vloume icon are moving up-down as per frequency of sound. I am using Windows 8.1. Anybody having solution on this?

When HD 2300 webcam is connected via USB (PC is HP Pavilion 500 running Windows 7) - my external PC speakers only make a loud buzzing noise, music won't play on speakers (MP3 music files via Windows Media Player).  Music plays OK when webcam is disconnected.  Called HP support, they temporarily "fixed" this via remote control but webcam wouldn't come on.  When rebooted the PC, webcam came on and the problem returned.  Any suggestions appreciated.

Basically, the troubles that I am encountering are that if I'm listening to music or watching a vieo etc. the audio will cut in half. Like I can hear backround music but not vocals. Or when playing games, it seems to cut out all audio. Its not a problem with headphones because I've tested different kinds that I know work and encounter the same problem.

 

I've read somewhere trying to research this saying that its probably something to do with drives and it said to delete and reinstall the drives but I have know idea how to do that on this computer.

 

Any help would be appreciated

I have just bought a HP Pavilion 23xi monitor as an addition for my Macbook Pro 13in Retina Display late 2013 model. I am wondering and needing to know the best way to successfully connect them both together. Please note I am using the pre-release version of the OS X Yosemite, if that makes a difference which I hope it doesn't.

I installed a new wireless Logitech mk520 keyboard yesterday and the internal speakers on my HP 2310m monitor won't work now. Operating system is Windows 7.  Drivers are up to date, nothing is muted. I don't use external speakers so without the internal speakers I have no sound at all.  Any suggestions?

I recently purchased a new monitor, but my envy will not detect it at all. I've checked multiple times. I'm using a VGA cable to connect the device. The monitor recognizes the cable is in and the connnection is secure, but it will display a "No Signal" and go into an immediate sleep mode after being booted up. I am able to move windows back and forth between the primary screen of the laptop (screen 1) and the secondary monitor I recently purchased (screen 2), but screen 2 does not display any of the windows.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

I placed a DVD in the slot and engaged the slot. Nothing happened so I manually opened the slot. To my surprise, he DVD was gone. Is it possible that I did not anchor it properly and it fell into some crevice within the monitor???
