I also purchased a 2509M problematic monitor that flickered a couple of weeks then went dead. I was planning on taking it to have it looked at, but after reading this forum it sounds like it cannot be fixed.
After reading these posts it seems clear there is a defect in this monitor. This 25 inch monitor was not cheap and I feel I should get more than 2 1/2 years out of product. The HP p6367e pavilion tower has had repairs as well and is only 2 1/2 years old. I'm having to use my old HP w19e monitor from my old computer!!!
HP does not seem to be standing behind thier product, I have always purchased HP products but after this I will not be replacing this monitor with another HP!
Would like to know if there is a fix for this monitor or do I take it to the electronic Junk yard?
