I have an HP 27bw display connected via HDMI to my Mac Mini, OS Mavericks. Screen resolution is 1080p. The desktop seems to stretch off the display, as in my Mac dock is so low, below the screen, that I can't read the icons, the top menu bar is above the screen and can't be accessed, and several of the desktop icons are almost entirely off the edge. I'd think I just need to horizontally and vertically compress the screen, but I can't find any options for doing this in the display menu.
Using the touch-buttons on the bottom right front of the monitor, under "Image Control" and then "Custom Scaling" the "Fill to Screen" and "Fill to Aspect Ration" options are greyed out. I can't seem to locate any other menu options that would help me.
Any suggestions? Thank you!
Tom
