I just bought a hp pavilion p6 and two acer monitors. I am trying to hook up the two monitors to the computer. The computer has a dvi output (two dvi outputs, in fact, in case that's relevant to a simple solution). Each acer monitor accepts a VGA input or a dvi-d input. The computer that I bought came with a dvi to VGA adapter and a VGA cord. As mentioned, I am trying to hookup both screens to be used at once. What is the simplest solution and what further equipment do I need to buy? Example a: can I purchase two dvi to dvi cables and connect CPU to each monitor that way? Example b: do I purchase an additional dvi to VGA adapter and an additional VGA cord to connect CPU to monitors via two adapters? Example c: do I need some sort of 2way saga monitor splitter? Very frustrating experience so far with this, so any help is appreciated. Thanks.
