My monitor HP LP2275w displays "No DVI signal" when connected with DVI cable (supplied), but when it is connected via VGA cable and adapter DVI/VGA (both supplied) it works but without BIOS screen. It starts immediatly with WIN logo.
I've just bought new HP Pavillion 500-158eg, Intel Core i5-4440, with AMD Radeon HD8570, 2GB, running on WIN7 Pro 64b. VGA and another port from motherboard are originally blocked so I can connect the monitor only via HDMI or DVI output on graphics card.
I have to note that on my old no-name machine with upgraded graphics ATI Radeon there were no problems and I have used the same cable. There was an electric shock that causes motherboard collapse so I even can not re-check on old machine. I can not check if there is a problem with DVI cable as all laptops in our hous have only VGA output....
Any solutions?
