Hello, I have an HP A6757c Desktop Pavilion. I was wanting to upgrade the video card so that it would run some of todays software. I was looking at the Asus GT640-2GD3.

The specs on my computer says that it will support a PCI Express x16 graphics card.
The power supply cut out on me about a year ago and I had an extra one from another desktop and its rated at 300w.
I was hoping someone could tell me if this card would fit and work in this desktop prior to me buying it. I have talked to ASUS support and they recommended I ask HP support.
If this card won't fit, is there a card that someone could recommend that would upgrade the graphics for this computer. I use it for casual work and play but my son is wanting to get it upgraded to play some of the newer games.
