Hello everyone, first post in this forum
I have been having a problem for 2 days now. It hapenned while I was using the computer with headphones on. As usual, I saw the "Audio Jack connected" warning in the system tray when I connected them, but I did not see the warning upon disconnecting. At the same time I no longer had sound coming from the internal speakers.
I checked in the Realtek HD Audio Manager application, and it marked the headphones as still plugged in. If I plug them in again, I no longer have the jack systray warning.
I already tried to clean the Headphone input socket, and to update/reinstall the Realtek drivers. To no avail.
If i connect something to the Microphone or to the Line Out jacks, I still get the systray warning, and it works as supposed. Only the Headphone does not work.
Could you give me some ideas of what more to try? Or, worst case, if there is a way of activating the internal speakers when the system detects an Headphone is connected? Something that may make my speakers work again, basically...
As stated in the subject, my computer is a Pavilion 23-b110ef All-In-One PC (no touchscreen), bought in France, with Windows 8.1 64-bits.
Thank you so much in advance for any possible help!
