help is needed for a computer problem...
i have been trying to upgrade my computer hp p6-2006it (mobo H cupertino 2 - H61 - uA TX) to take a new gpu (nvidia Geforce GTX 750). I have tried a few higher end cards with no avail...
today i believe I have updated my BIOS software to 2.16, and hopefully that will assist me.
my psu is 650w so no problem there.
computer specs are:
Intel Core i7 2600 cpu, 3.40 ghz
memory 6gb
system type 64bit os
directx runtime version 11
windows 7 home premium
current graphics card nvidia gforce GT 520 3788mb
currently when trying to get the computer to boot on with the new card in position, i get a blue hp splash screen..then i get a black screen that seems to display the new graphics card bios info (says geforce gtx 750........).
after which I can go no further.
