I have attached a Pavilion 27xi led display to an Envy 700-330 qe via the DVI-D cable. It works very well. The problem I am having is with the "My Display" software. I downloaded the My Display software after installing the monitor's device driver which came on the supplied CD.
There is an option in My Display called Startup Wizard. It allows me to calibrate brightness, contrast, etc and then save the settings. The problem is: after going through the calibrations, the program ALWAYS aborts when trying to save the settings under a "configuration name". There is no specific error message which gives a hint as to why this happens.
I never had this problem on my older Pavilion m9000t connected to an LCD 24" hp monitor. So with this new Envy PC and new 27" Xi display, I am now not sure what to do. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
