HP pavilion 23tmmonitor touch screen issues

hi there,

I have had the pavilion 23tm touch screen monitor for under a year.  Recently, most of the screen will not recegnize touch anymore.

i have reinstalled the os 8.1 and reinstalled the hp drivers but no change.  any ideas?
