I received my new Envy 810 330qe yesterday, 10/07/2014. I followed the set-up procedure as per the manual provided. I then turned it on and followed the on screen instructions setting up Windows 8. I had connected my speakers that I have been using on my present HP Pavillion h8-1080t. They worked fine on it. I also tried my headphones, but they did not work either, both in the rear and the upper front. The 1080t has the Realtek HD Audio card. The 810-330 has the Beats Audio card.
I have gone through all the proceedures trouble shooting the problem, but to no avail. I've read several of the trouble messages in the forum and have done the solutions stated, but the problem exists. The sound system from the Nvidia GeForce GTX 745 graphics card does work on the HP w2338h monitor.
