While I was working on my computer the screen all of a sudden started flickering and then it had this kind of pixalated purple discolourization on the right side (see image below).
I researched online how to solve this issue and most say you need to degauss the monitor but I did not find this option on my computer.
I then updated my graphics card but still it would not go away.
Then the next morning I turned on my computer and the purple colour was still on the right side and all of a sudden it disappeared and it is no longer there.
I do worry however that this issue will return as from what I could see many people that had this issue reported that it would sometimes come back.
