Replacement monitor broken as well.....

So i was on here a few days ago because my monitor was broken and i couldnt get a hold of anyone for a replacement. I get connected with someone and get my replacement shipped out and it arrives today.

 

 It has an issue where it keeps going to sleep. I have plugged in multiple cables to it and tried using VGA. I have tried power cycling it and plugging it into another PC. It gives the messages either "Monitor going to sleep" and then goes black or "No input signal". I tried to call hp again and sat on hold for about 15mins before i just hung up.

 

What do i need to do here? do i send back my old one or the broken replacement? If someone who could talk to me from hp on the phone would conatct me that would great. "Get tech support" through the support number takes me to an endless hold.
