I recently upgraded my h8-1214 to Windows 8. Everything was working fine except for a really annoying piano sound that played everytime my microphone was accessed. This happened on Windows 7 and I fixed it before by reinstalling the drivers from the HP website. I tried it this time on Windows 8 and it just tells me I dont meet the system requirements. I tried the drivers under 8 and 7 and both gave me the same error message. The first time I uninstalled the drivers they reinstalled as "NVIDIA High Definition Audio" and I tried to get rid of those for a second attempt and now the drivers automatically reinstalled as "High Definition Audio Device" and now it doesnt work at all.
Now that I think about it that wasnt how I fixed the piano sound in the first place. Where can I find the right drivers to get beats audio back?
