I recently purchased an 800 Small Form Factor PC H5T99ET http://store.hp.com/UKStore/Merch/Product.aspx?id=H5T99ET&opt=ABU&sel=PBDT but have been able to get even a boot screen on my VGA monitor (VGA to VGA connector). The shop I bought it from said maybe VGA is disabled in the BIOS. Is this likely?
I have since tried it with a DVI screen connecting via DisplayPort but this doesn't work either so, I think it's a faulty unit and I am returning it.
Before I buy another one, can anyone tell me whether it is likely that VGA is disabled by default on this PC? If so that seems very strange, as many older monitors do not have a DVI socket.
