hp omni 27 sub output not working

Hi, i purchased an Hp omni 27" (27-1055) , i installed windows 8.1 but my sub output not working,  nor showing under sound devices properties, i treid everything from reinstalling  driver,rolling back driver and installing windows7  but not luck. i was wondering if could be hardware related, since my hdmi port only shows video not AUDIO. thx
