HP 500-214 Audio not working

I just got my HP 500-214 a few days ago. All is well except for my audio issues which is a lack of sound. I have the IDT high definition drivers installed and I've tried uninstalling and re-installing them but no luck. I have sound from my headphones when I plug them into the headphone jack on the front of the computer but no sound out of my speakers except for a couple of hours yesterday. Last night when I got on the computer no sound from the speakers but sound from my headphones.

I did a factory reset of the computer today in order to start from scratch but I'm having the same problem. I have a Logitech Z506 5.1 speaker system and the jacks are plugged into the orange, black and green jacks on the rear of the computer. I have the 5.1 speaker configuration selected in the sound profile for the speakers, like I said, they worked for a couple of hours yesterday and now nothing.

One last thing, when I bring up the DTS sound+ program, my jack configuration is showing my orange/black/green rear panel jacks in use but it also shows my green front panel headphone jack in use even though I don't have any headphones plugged into it. Could this front headphone jack not being de-selected cause my speakers to not have sound come through them? I can't find anywhere or anyway to de-activate this front jack. PLEASE HELP!!!
