After disconnecting speakers from the back of the desktop, when I connect my headphone to the front headphone socket only thing I hear is static. If I connect speakers to the headphone still it only produces static no sound.
Then when I connect the speakers in the back of the desktop, still I hear the static on the speakers.
If I disconnect the speakers from desktop and then connect the speakers to my cell phone speakers work fine.
After trying above steps, I installed a bluetooth dongle to my HP desktop and tried to connect to my speakers, and they work fine.
So, I called the HP support and paid them the $59.99 support fee. The lady tried removing and installing drivers several times and it did not help. Re: Customer Service Order Number: BDLQ1658-01
Why my HP desktop makes static sound when connected through headphones or speakers? Is there a solution for it.
Also, can I add a new sound card to my desktop? It seems there are no free slots available on the motherboard. I see there are two cards installed one for VGA/Monitor and one for TV.
I am an HP employee and will highly appreciate your help.
Thank you much.
