Hello,
I'm trying to set up a 2nd monitor on a new HP Pro 3500 PC. Both monitors are the E231i EliteDisplay model.
The first monitor is connected to the PC with the included VGA to VGA cable and works just fine.
The 2nd monitor is connected to the PC with a Display Port (monitor end) to DVI-D (PC end) cable.
The 2nd monitor does not recognize any connection from the monitor side or the computer side.
I've tried rebooting the PC (a few times) and detecting monitors in the display section of the Control Panel. Nothing is found for a 2nd display. The monitor itself when turned on says "Scanning...No Signal" as it cycles through all settings (DisplayPort, DVI, VGA). I've tried going into the menu on the monitor and choosing Display Port or DVI manually, changing settings in there. I've downloaded the driver from the disk and the website. No luck.
Can you tell me what I should be doing differently? What else can I try?
