Bluetooth Headset

Hello,

Background:

I recently completed a fresh installation of Windows 7 x64 Home Premium on a newly installed SSD in my HP Pavilion HPE h8-1360t. I have updated Windows completely and installed HP's supplied drivers through the HP Support Solutions Framework.

Problem:

I am attempting to connect a Turtle Beach PX4 headset through Bluetooth to chat in games. The headset does not require special drivers of its own and it paired perfectly with HP's original installation of Windows that came with this computer. I am able to pair the headset onthe new Windows SSD install, but it is not listed in playback devices or recording devices. Double clicking the Turtle Beach PX4 icon in the Devices and Printers window takes me to the devices properties where almost all of the information is listed "unavailable" and the services field is completely blank. On my original install of Windows, this same action used to take me to the Bluetooth connection / hands-free headset options window.

What I've tried:

Windows automatically installed generic bluetooth drivers which first showed this problem. I uninstalled the generic Microsoft drivers and installed HP's supplied drivers through the HP Support Solutions Framework. This changed absolutely nothing in the Bluetooth menus or functions in regards to my headset. Then I tried Broadcom's Bluetooth driver update application, which failed claiming inability to overwrite existing drivers before I uninstalled HP's drivers and then failed claiming inability to locate the Bluetooth device after I uninstalled HP's drivers.

Thanks in advance for any insight!
