I'm running Win 8.1 with an HP w2207 Wide LCD Monitor as the monitor and an HP 2310 Series Wide LCD Monitor as the digital display. When I log in after the computer has been sleeping for a while, the monitor flashes on then goes blank hiding all the windows that had been open on that side. To regain the extended desktop, I can either cycle the power switch on the monitor or reverse the monitor with the digital display, then reverse them again. Sometimes, if I'm quick enough, I can keep the monitor alive by clicking in a window on that display. This doesn't always work. There is no problem with the extended desktop during normal work. This problem only occurs during login.
