Blu rays will not play in HP MediasmartDVD or PowerDVD

I have been trying to play Blu rays on my 

HP Pavilion dv7-3020ea Entertainment Notebook Product number VJ221EA

I have tried playing them through HP MediaSmart DVD howevere it keeps asking to check for updates. Whether I select yes or no it displays that the disk is ready and to just press play to begin playing. Disk just wont play.

I have tried searching through the forums I believe it is to do with a driver update however I can't find a link to download the update driver.
