NVIDIA problems:
So usual so it seems to all the forums:
Problem:
Upgraded my refurbished desktop already first with a ASUS EAH5570 silent, working fine with once a day a reboot because of freezing and now an upgrade with a Gigabyte GTX750. And I already needed to place a new processor, because 1 core was running at 1.67Ghz and the other 3 at 2.97Ghz. By accident I discovered this problem of the refurbished pc.
Problem now, only VGA modus possible with the NVIDIA.
Did already an uninstall for the former card. Removed it from the install and Register. Also did this with several updates from the NVIDIA software. Removed old and new software from directories etc. And did several reinstall trials. Install is OK. Card goes from VGA standard to NVIDIA GTX 750.
At the background I can start WIN7-64 Ultimate, only........always black screen.
I did also several attemps on the DVI and HDMI ports.
Also without installing sound and 3d.
It seems the NVIDIA software drivers and WIN7- 64 doesn't work together.
I suppose that this graphiccard still can use the PCI-E 2.0 instead of 3.0 and that the 450Watt power supply is sufficient.
PS I upgraded because of a lot of photowork these days, including scanning a lot of different formats.
