- Hi Im attempting to Install a Nvidia GPU on my HP, Its came with an AMD APU porcesser but Ive red it should be no problem to Install a GPU. Anyway I put the card in and booted up and the HP welcome splash screen came up as usual then the Starting Windows Splash came up, I waited and hearded the sound when the Pc Boots but the screen still showed the Starting Splash screen. Waitied 20 more minutes and no change. Im pretty sure it sucessfully booted but It just diditt render or somehting. I restarted and Tried checking the BIOS and theirs Few options at all, and none which pertain to PCI or Integrated or Dedicated graphics. Like on other PCs. I couldnt find any thing to change the slot was enabled. Ive tried Deleating all the AMD drivers, Installing the Nvidia Drivers before booting with the GPU, IT wont let me as nothing is Nvidia on here [yet]. Im pretty sure the card works the fan spins and the boot screens look fine. Please help, The card calls for 300w PSU and i got 300w, Its a low end card so. Thank you
