Recently (2 weeks ) purchased the Pavilion Mini 300-010 desktop and was going good before i decided to flex my curiosity .
the desktop is connected to my VGA Samsung monitor using HDMI-VGA connector since the desktop output doesn't have options for using DVI-I or VGA.
the part where my curiosity killed the cat, was when i decided to boot the winodws 8.1 in safe mode and see what happens.
pressing F8 didn't help as the OS load had no delay( or could be that it is UEFI BIOS) and so i decided to set the safe mode with "minimal without network option "using "msconfig". Performed a reboot assuming i would see safemode and all i got is a black screen. Realised that the driver for display conversion may not be loaded during safemode and now i am stuck as i don't have a LCD /LED monitor that directly plugs in.
I have checked the VGA Monitor just in case and it seems to be working fine with my laptop. . Performed reboot "N"- number times and the result is the same .
is there a way out of safe mode without actually getting a HDMI capable monitor by just using the Keyboard ?
