HP Pavillion 23xi display

Hi there,

Two questions:

1. how do i change the language to English on my monitor settings?

2. the right side of my screen appears clearly but the left side is distinctly more grainy. any ideas on changes i need to make to the setttings or is this likely to be a fault?
