Someone else has a similar problem with this:

Firstly after trying the monitor on seperate computers the problem was still there also when blacked out none of the buttons on the monitor worked either.the only way to get it back is to unplugg the cable and plugg it back in or turn the power of on the 4way and back on.Then everythings working fine until the next black out.
+its the second problem with this product as it was send back screen burn meltdown the first time.
I dont have any extra insurance with Currys PC world so they will ultimately send it back to manufacturer for repair..
Ok 3rd Strike and HP owe me brand new replacement as its still in warranty
but is it a general product fault through the whole batch (REF:Above link to other customer)
