Hi
As I'm typing this, I'm seeing flickering blue lines (or dots, not sure) around the screen. It could be anywhere but I noticed that it only shows up on whitish areas for the blue lines/dots at least, for the pink lines/dots I think they show up on grayish areas. The lines/dots also move as I try to configure the Contrast via the OSD settings the monitor provides. I can't take a screenshot because it doesn't show up to other users. I'll try to take a picture as soon as I get my hands on a camera though. I have tried connecting to another monitor to see if the problem is in the graphics card but it's not. I also tried to connect my monitor with my cousin's CPU with both the VGA and DVI cable I had and the problem persists. So not a cable issue but the monitor itself. Any suggestions?
This problem wasn't here before. I think it started last year or earlier. Forgot, sorry. Just didn't get bothered by it because I thought that was normal. I don't think this is a "stuck pixel" issue because it moves as I change the contrast.
Not a software issue too because it even shows up in Safe Mode.
No, my monitor is not under warranty anymore as this is already 5 years old lol. The monitor was bought with the HP Pavilion p6355d CPU.
