Use HP pavilion 23 PC as show monitor

 Hi , 

can I connect playstation or somthing like that to my HP Pavilion computer ,  to use the computer as a show monitor

note :

1- I know there is a cable called "RCA to USB adapter" can I use it ? if yes , How ?
