I just purchased an HP W2071d monitor but cannot get it to work. When I start my laptop, it scans for both DVI and VGA but cannot find either. It gives me the message "Monitor going to sleep." I try pressing the menu button to change the settings but it doesn't work. My laptop recognizes the monitor and the correct driver is installed. The VGA cable is plugged in all the way as is the power cord.
