I have had my Pavilion 22xi for about 8 months now and all has been fine until a couple of days ago when a green hue appeared on the right hand side of the monitor. A pink ghost image of my web browser can also be seen in the upper right hand corner when on a dark background. I use the monitor as a second screen connected to a macbook via a HDMI to mini displayport connector. The problem occurs on both mac and windows.
I have changed HDMI cables, checked connections, reset the monitor to factory settings, read through the HP troubleshooting tips and tried the monitor with another computer but the same problem still occurs.
I am thinking there is a fault with a monitor, but wanted to ask if there was anything I'm missing or a solution before contacting HP support.
