Hello all!
I'd like to connect 3rd monitor to 6200 SFF pro (which has only 2 video output ports). Specifications explicitly mention such possibility (installing a video card into pci slot and using both), there is even a separate HP document describing the procedure (Using Integrated and Discrete Graphics. Simultaneously. For HP Compaq 8200 Elite and 6200 Pro Series desktop models). So, this is kind of supported.
But after I install a discrete video card (HP NVS300 PCI-e x16), the integrated one stops working - no output, no device in windows Device Manager (If I remove a discrete video card, then the internal one 'reappears' - so physically it is ok).
In BIOS setup the 'Integrated Video' (under Advanced) is set to enabled, but is grayed out. 'VGA configuration' option is also grayed out and is not selectable.
I've checked BIOS updates, but did not find any mention of such problem in changelogs, so I decided not to do BIOS update.
I've tried mailing HP technical support, but have got no reply =((
Any ideas what to try next?
