The video card quit working. Verified it was bad. Purchased a Radeon HD 5450 PCI express 2.1 bus with 1 GB which Staples said would be backward compatible. When installed fans work but screen is black. Replaced with another Radeon HD 5450 thinking the first one might be bad, but same problem. Some blogs say that the ASUS P5LP-LE motherboard will only work with 512 MB video and other blogs say to reset BIOS and others say change jumpers on motherboard.
Does anyone know how to make the Radeon HD 5450 work with my m7287c desktop?
