I have an older HP Media Center PC, model m7350n. It came with Windows XP which Microsoft will not be supporting starting in April 2014. I installed Windows Vista Ultimate and it works great.
I am not receiving any audio from either the front or rear ports. Device Manager does NOT show any problems with any drivers. I "think" the audio is a Realtec, but their website does not have any SCAN feature to confirm the device.
I am hoping someone can tell me the type of audio device and model so I can look for an upgraded device driver.
Or is there a genetic driver I can loaded to get the sound?
I prefer NOT to have to purchase a sound card, but I will if I need to. The kids use the computer to play silly games on the Interenet with the computer.
Thank you
