two monitor configuration

I have a HP Pavilion HPE h8-1360t wtih

 2 GB  NVIDA GeForce GT630

Windows 7 Home Prem

NO TV Tuner.

I am attempting to set up a second monitor (LG 22EN33) and have purchased a DVI (single-link) vido cable 6.5 ft.

PART 1;

There are two DVI port on the back with "do not remove" covers on them  Why are they there and can they be 'enabled"?

PART 2:

how do I set up my second monitor?  My first is a HP Paviloion f1903.  they both came with VGA (blue) cables and both work individually in the monitor port( primaty port provided).  there is another port next it on the same card.  do I just need an adapter for the second montior, and the other port? I believe it's a PCI port.
