Hi,
I am wondering why the HP DVD player :
- does "upscale" correctly a 576x720 pixels PAL DVD (ie 576x1024 for 16/9 movie, with square pixel screen) into my 768x1366 pixels computer screen to full screen size when the DVD is anamorphic ;
- but, why it seems to choose an arbitrary smaller size for a "non anamorphic" 4/3 PAL DVD where the movie is letterboxed to a smaller size than full screen? (it seems arbitrary to me because the movie frame shown on the computer screen that does not seem to change when I change the screen resolution to a smaller one). So if it is not exaclty a 390x720 pixel PAL frame (for a 1.85 movie), why not choose the arbitrary frame size to full computer screen size (or at least width)??
