I'm looking to get a new desktop and I need to have the ability to have 4 or more monitors with very high resolution. I am not a gamer. I need big screens e.g. 42" and I was thinking the best resolution would be 2550x1440 and using an i7 core would have enough power for this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Right now I'm using an old HP laptop (I love it, never had a problem with it) but the laptop I'm using is running 2 extra monitors through a Display link. It manages but I know it's realllllly labouring and I know it just can't handle the bigger monitors with the higher resolution. I've looked around a bit but not much to find a larger i.e. 42" monitor that has the 2550x1440 resolution and they seem to be a bit of a myth, any help?
