Ghost Stain on my monitor screen

good day..

i purchased a new HP Pavilion 23xi ( C3Z94AA ) ...  eight months ago. I'm using a windows 8 on my laptop and connected to my monitor via VGA / DVI.

few days ago, i noticed that part left vertical of my monitor is getting blurred ( about 3-4 inches vertical - - -top to bottom )  ... not tune with the colors of the monitor as a whole.  text are getting blurred  on that side, day by day and i'm getting worried. I noticed, that everytime the background change.... the previous icons stayed as a stain. ( kinda a blur / ghost ). my desktop background color is black, and  it irritates me.

everytime i boot my laptop, i can "STILL" see  the ghost stain of my desktop icons on the left side.  specially when  the operating system boots up. it seems to be... it never change.

i tried to reset the factory setting of my monitor, but nothings change.

tried to check / download the drivers, even utilities, and installed it, but nothing change. i even tried to callibrate, but still the same.

i installed the HP My Display Utility, but still the same.

i even tried to replace the VGA Cable 3X, also replace the DVI Cable, but the stain / blurred / unmatch color of the left side is still there.

i even try to change the monitors refresh rate of 60 hertz to 30 hertz, hoping there will be any change. but failed. so i decided to go back to its original preset refresh rate of 60.

i already checked the warranty of my monitor, but already expired last march of 2014.

i'm really worried and hope there's something i can do about it. i saved my money ( i don't have work ) to buy this kind of monitor.... and i think, it will not last long.

i hope you can help me with this one, hoping and praying you can return my email ASAP and give me the right answerSSSSS.

thank you and GOOD Day.
