I have seen questions regarding adding an SSD to this computer.
I added an Intel 530 Series, 240 gig Solid State Drive that is working well.
I first made the restore disks (you may not be able to access the restore feature from the F11 boot menu after adding a second drive). Next I did a full backup using Acronis software. I removed the existing hard drive and put the SSD in it's place. I restored from my backup. After ensuring it worked OK I installed the original drive in the 2nd position and formatted it.
This improved performance by a good bit.
Note cautions about SSDs that you should not defrag them and I put files of a temporary nature on a non SSD such as the Page File. There are many discussions about these on the Web.
I did have problems finding screws to use on the 2nd drive until I realized you can take some from other areas such as the Power Supply mount and use other screws there. I had to be careful to use a shorter screw in one place on the drive to avoid circuitry.
