HP Envy Recline 27 and Beats Audio
I have just bought an HP Envy Recline 27 and let it update to Windows 10 and am now having problems with the audio which I see is not unique. The speakers are fine but when I plug headphones it all goes quiet, no sound from anywhere. The Beats Adio window opens and the the little Blue circle starts to rotate............and rotate........after about 10 minutes it finally asks whether I have plugged in headphones or a headset. Choosing either results in...........silence. I read on here that someone managed to clear the problem by updating the sound driver. Done that. No change. Any suggestions appreciated.
Somewhile later......Beats Audio is now behaving itself and it all works. Just needed a bigger hammer to threaten it with!

HP 27 ENVY BANG & OLUFSEN 27-p020qe
I just got this machine last week, and deceived to hook my cable box through the HDMI IN. The audio is not working when I use the HDMI in, I get video but no audio. In PC mode i get audio.
I ran HP Support Assistant & Microsoft update for the latest updates. Still no audio through HDMI IN.

No Sound After Windows 10 Ugrade on Envy700
After upgrading to Windows 10, I no longer have sound. My desktop is a HP Envy 700, Model 700-056, Serial number [edited]. I do not have sound through the internal speaker, headphones nor a basic external speaker set. I had sound previously before the upgrade to Win10. The steps I have tried so far, 1) Windows Trouble shooter, 2) update sound driver, 3) delete driver and restart. 4) HP Support Assistant driver check. Everything appears to be working in Control Panel device manager, however it is not. Any help or new things to try would be greatly appreciated.

Today I bought a new s2031a I plugged in an hdmi cable and hooked it up to both an Xbox and a dad player neither give me sound. I have tried navigating the menu. I have tried hooking up external speakers. Please help I don't know what to do.

HP 700-216 Bluetooth issues pairing with HK Onyx Studio
I have a Harmon/Kardon bluetooth speaker. It pairs and plays without a problem with my iphone, but I can't pair the speaker with my HP ENVY 700-216.
I have a Ralink Bluetooth adapter, and its Hardware IDs are:
USB\VID_148F&PID_3298&REV_0000
USB\VID_148F&PID_3298
What I have already tried:
I've already installed and uninstalled the speaker once (The computer recognized it as a bluetooth device in some places, but in my audio playback devices, it only showed the jack in the front of the computer and in the rear.) , gone to services.msc and restarted my bletooth services, rebooted the computer several times, installed every update available to me, and I have disabled and enabled the adapter.
I have right clicked each device under the bluetooth block ( in the device manager) and clicked 'update driver.' Windows claims it has searched the web and I have the best drivers available for my device. I'm looking for a driver update from Mediatek. If I find one, and this solves the problem, I will update my post.
Please, can someone help me fix this problem?

can you please tell me, which 5.1 ot 7.1 sound card should work with this computer? I tried Sound Blaster Audigy FX and 5.1 sound didn't work. (I tried all fixes, setups and drivers from manufacturer).
Integrated audio also didn't play 5.1 sound.
I have Logitech Z906 audio system.

Computer isn't recognizing external microphone
I've recently gotten ahold of a new headset. There is a male part for both the microphone and the headset speakers; however, my computer only has one female part. Rightly so, I bought an adapter after trying both the headset and mic. The headset speakers work both with and without the adapter, but the microphone doesn't work with or without the adapter.
The only mic my computer does recognize is the internal mic(which I don't wish to use for recording reasons).
Also I've spent the last hour trying to get some kind of answer, yet I can't find anything. I've restarted my computer multiple times and my computer continues to no recognize the mic. Any suggestions as to what I should do?

Sound problems since Windows 10 upgrade
I have a subwoofer and in the windows sound dialogue box, I manage to set 5.1 surround sound for Left, right, Centre and Subwoofer speakers and test successfully.
On playback - whether via youtube or windows media player, the centre and subwoofer speakers are knocked out and sound only audible via left and right and the levels I previously applied return to 50/50.
I had all the speakers working successfully in windows 7 without Beats Audio because this caused the volume to be erratic and I could not get a decent base range using it.
I have tried updating the IDT high Definition Audio CODEC driver, which was not successful. The driver version that is working is 6.10.6400.0

Audio Problems - Windows 10 Upgrade
Since the Windows 10 upgrade, i do not have system sound. I am also unable to use headphones. I have always used the system sound opposed to additional speakers. All speaker levels on the sound mixer are also at the correct level. Please advise.

HP 14-2166SE Missing Beats Drivers
Hello,
I recently installed a new SSD and am piecing together the drivers but can't seem to get the original Beats audio software. (The beats logo would come up when I adjusted the volume)
As well as, the touchpad has a touch toggle switch to enable/disable it. It no longer works and stays its disabled status (orange light) but still works.
Any help to where I can get the drivers would be much appreciated!

HP S6500
How do I keep my HP S6500 speaker paired with my computer when not in use? If audio isn't constantly playing, it disconnects after several minutes and can only be paired again by turning it off and back on. Sometimes it requires me to remove device and re-add it before it will work. I have it connected via USB.

HP compaq dc5800 small form factor windows 7 audio driver
I received the error message message "No output device installed" over the sound icon in the task bar tray. I do not understand why HP's Driver web page

Does my 251-a110z HP pc have internal speakers?
I don't hear any sound - if I plug in earbuds I do hear sound.
If I use a bluetooth usb and use my earpiece from my android phone, it works - but the microphone does not work.
But without either of the above, I hear no sound. Does this pc not have internal speakers? I hope someone can tell me, I'm at a loss

Multimedia Audio Controller driver not installed
Sound missing. I have a yellow tag attached to the 'Multimedia Audio Controller' . Device status code 28, meaning drivers not installed. Device type is 'Other devices' and 'Manufacture ' is unknown.
Please help. I need to download a new driver for this Multimedia Audio Controller for my HP computer.

windows 10, no microphone on IQ-524
I installed Windows 10 on my HP IQ-524 and now my microphone is not working. I did everything, in regard, to getting the microphone to work in the settings. I even added an external mic and that too isn't working. I tried looking for a driver to get it to work, to no avail. Is there a new driver that I need? Any help...will help. Thanks in advance.
